Ever since the COVID pandemic hijacked the normal rhythm of life, we have been humming an off-key tune. It is unbelievable how things unfolded and gradually dressing up for outdoors looks like a scene from one of the doomsday movies. You need to put on a mask, gloves, carry wipes to avoid touching common surfaces, hand sanitizers, and also keep a back-up mask in case the first one falls off. All these in addition to dressing for the weather which means jackets and hats or raincoats and umbrellas depending on where you stay.
Next week, I shall leave home every alternate day for my adult training classes. My son, who is six, and shall take the bus to school will leave almost at the same time. To add to this confusion, we will have a toddler rampaging everything he can lay his hands on. So, I have come up with the following checklists. I plan to take a print out and put it up on the wall of our entryway and glance through it before anyone leaves the house. It is partially populated and there is space for you to add in items you feel relevant.
